Here at Christ Church Winchester, we love our student community who come together to encounter Jesus and encourage one another. Whether you are studying at the University of Winchester, Winchester School of Art or Sparsholt College, we would love to support you through your study and bring you closer to Jesus.
What we do
Life
We love gathering every Tuesday night at 6pm to eat together, then worship and explore God’s word together in small groups.
Read
We meet at West Downs every Wednesday at 2pm to simply read the Bible together and have a chat about what it means for us today.
Church
Most of our students head to the 7pm service to worship together and respond to what God is saying. We always then go to the pub for a drink.
Coffee
We love getting to know you guys better and are always available for a coffee and a chat through how you’re doing at uni.
Through the year
There’s even more stuff that we do through the year as well as what happens in the week!
Parties
We LOVE throwing big Christmas and Summer Parties with fancy dress and themed cocktails - make sure to put them in your diary and invite your friends.
Residentials
We go away twice a year to grow in our faith and as a community. We usually go for an away day in Semester 1 and a weekend away in February.
Prayer
We love praying and a highlight of our year is always 9-9 Prayer, where we gather to pray from 9pm to 9am, through the night, for our world, our city and our campus.
Festivals
Every year we head to Wildfires in the summer to pray for revival in our nation and for the next generation to be transformed by Jesus… and there’s a churro van so…
