Children & Families
Our mission is to disciple the next generation by teaching God’s Word and modelling Christ’s character by the power of the Holy Spirit, enabling children to put their faith in and obey Jesus Christ, growing towards maturity in Him.
Safeguarding
We value the importance of security and safety and are committed to the safeguarding of all children in our care.
All leaders and helpers are fully DBS-checked and all events have risk assessments. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Safeguarding Officer via the safeguarding page of our website.
Sundays
Our children’s groups for 0-11 year olds run every Sunday morning at 11am (except for the first Sunday of the month). Children start altogether in the service, then go to their groups after the first couple of songs. Please drop your children off to the relevant group at this point during the service. After their morning group time, we bring all the 3-11 year old children together for ten minutes to share what we’ve done, worship and pray together. Please collect your child from the Simeon Room at the end of the service, unless they are in Creche (0-2 years) where they are collected from their room upstairs at 12 noon.

Creche
Sofa Room (Upstairs) · 0-2 years
A space for play and fun whilst parents enjoy the morning service.
We have lots of toys and games for your toddler to play with while you enjoy the service.
Leaders wear red polo shirts.

Scramblers
Coffee Bar (Upstairs) · 2-4 years
Scramblers is a fun and welcoming place for your preschool child.
We start with free play and also enjoy craft, singing and storytime. We love learning about God together.
Leaders wear orange polo shirts.

Climbers
Guinness Suite (Upstairs) · Year R-2
Climbers is a place for fun, learning about Jesus and growing together.
We love crafts, singing and games. We enjoy in age-based small groups so children can grow with their friends.
Leaders wear blue polo shirts.

Xplorers
Simeon Room (Downstairs) · Year 3-6
In Xplorers we really 'go deeper' with God in a way that's great fun.
We have loads of games, activities and there are times to make friends in small groups based on year groups.
Leaders wear purple polo shirts.

Health and Consent Forms
If your child has joined the children’s groups at Christ Church (0-11s) please fill in the relevant health and consent forms below. There are separate forms for Youth (11-14s and 14-18s) which can be found on the Youth page of the website.

Bumps&Babies
Tuesdays 10am · 0-2 years
This free group is the space for meeting up and sharing conversation and experiences with other parents of new babies. A new baby is always a life changing experience, and we pray that you catch a glimpse of how God is at work at this special time for you. We meet in the Simeon Room.

Toddlers
Tuesdays 10am · Preschoolers
Are you a mum, dad, grandparent, or carer with a child under 5? Would you like to come and meet other parents, carers and children? Then come and join us for play, songs, refreshments, crafts, and stories. We would love to see you! We meet in the main church, £1 per family.

XPC
Fridays 5:45-7:15pm · Year 5-6
At XPC, we meet for a great evening of playing sports, games, doing crafts, hanging out with friends and hearing a short Bible talk. We do special themed evenings too, so check out the programme for what's coming up! It’s £1 for entry (which includes 30p to spend in the tuck shop). Drop off & pick up at the back door.
Christ Church School Assembly Team
We also have a great team that provide fun, active and structured assemblies for primary schools in the Winchester area.
They include dramas, singing and a short talk. The team visits over 7000 children seven times a year.
Over the past year, when we were unable to visit schools in person, we delivered our assemblies online. These videos are still available to be used. Click the button below to watch an assembly.
