The Alpha Course
The Alpha Course is a FREE course that creates a relaxing and informal space where you can come as you are to discuss life's big questions as we share some food. We run courses throughout the year.
+ Who is this for?
Alpha is for everyone who's curious. The course is all about open conversation and exploring the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly and informal environment.
No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
+ When is it on?
Our next morning course begins on Wednesday 24th January 2024, and runs weekly until 27th March. We begin with coffee and pastries at 10am, ending at midday. The sessions take place at Christ Church, SO23 9SR.
There is also a one-off day on Saturday 9th March (10am - 3.30pm) where we will spend the whole day together.
+ How does it work?
Alpha is a series of ten Wednesday sessions with a special feature length Saturday session part way through. Each session includes a short talk or video, followed by a discussion where you can share your thoughts and ask questions.
At any point, if you think Alpha isn't for you, that's not a problem. There's no pressure, no follow up and no charge.
