Messy Church is a church community with a difference! We grow closer to each other and God through crafts, games, and activities all focused around a central theme or Bible Story. We always have a celebration where we sing and hear a story from the bible, and we end by sharing a meal together.
We are a community of families in Winchester from all backgrounds and everyone is welcome to come along.
Messy Church is 4-6pm every fourth Tuesday of the month.
From September 2017, this will change to the last Tuesday of every month.
There is no Messy Church in July or August due to School holidays, and in December we have a 'Messy Nativity' service on Christmas eve only.
The next dates are:
25th April 2017
23rd May 2017
27th June 2017
Messy Dads is for any dad, stepdad, granddad, uncle or any man who is a role model to children. Messy Dads has two streams:
Messy Dads is all about having fun with the children, doing outdoor activities, treasure hunts, woodcraft, "it's a knockout" and sharing some food. In these sessions there is always singing and time spent bringing part of the bible to life and reflecting on it with the children.
The next Messy Dads will be at Farley Mount on Saturday 17th June.
Who Let the Dads Out?
Who Let the Dads Out is just for the men, to meet with peers and to have some silly fun, good chats and truly get to know each other. All of this in a relaxed setting and sharing some food and drink.
The next Who Let the Dads out? Will be mid to end of May - date TBC
We aim to have one activity from each stream each term.
