At Christ Church, Winchester. Course Cost - £60 to include meals and materials

What is it?
The Marriage Course is a practical series of seven sessions which are designed to give a married couple the tools to build a strong and healthy relationship. It is also a great opportunity to spend time together as a couple looking at important issues that can be lost in the daily rush of life.
Weekly, each couple is given the opportunity to enjoy a meal together and listen to a talk, followed by a time for discussing the topic as a couple. Privacy is respected and at no time is there any group work.
For the couple's own benefit, there is homework given at the end of each session to enable you to continue your discussion at home.
Topics covered include:
- Recognising each other's needs
- Learning to communicate effectively
- Resolving conflict
- Healing past hurt
- Knowing how to make each other feel loved
- Relating to parents and in-laws
- Good sex
- Making time for each other
- Having fun together
Having fun together
Who is it for?
- Those who want to enhance their marriage
- Those at a challenging stage in their marriage, e.g. the birth of a child, a career change, teenagers at home, the 'empty nest'
- Those struggling with issues in their marriage
While based on Christian principles, the course is very helpful for any couple, with or without a Christian faith or background. We invite a contribution towards the cost of the course of £60 per couple and this includes a meal and materials.
Who runs the course?
The course was started in 1996 by Nicky and Sila Lee who are on the staff at Holy Trinity Brompton
– the London church that started the Alpha course.
The course at Christ Church is led by David and Helen Williams.
