The Alpha Format
A meal at the beginning of each
session gives everyone an
opportunity to get to know each
other. A talk is then given before breaking into small groups.
Listen, learn, discuss and discover. And ask anything. Supported by all
the main Christian denominations, Alpha is a place where no question
is too simple or too hostile. |
Who is Alpha intended for?
Alpha is for everyone including those wanting
to investigate Christianity, new Christians,
and those wanting to brush up on the basics.
It seeks to answer questions such as:
• "What is the point of life?"
• "What happens when we die?"
• "Is forgiveness possible?"
• "What relevance does Jesus have
for our lives today?"

Over the ten weeks,
the topics covered include:
• "Who is Jesus?"
• "Did Jesus rise from the dead?"
• "Why did Jesus die?"
• "Why and how should I read the Bible?"
• "Why and how should I pray?"
• "Who is the Holy Spirit?"
• "How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?"
