Mission is at the heart of God! We aspire to be a missional community, being good news where we live, work and play. Our global links aspire to be mutual partnerships both formal and informal and often organic.

Our World Church Fund is the largest item on our Church Budget - but this work is primarily underpinned through prayer and the practical pastoral support of our overseas mission partners. These work in Sudan, Uganda, Mongolia, Argentina, Romania and in England. Areas of work range from education, broadcasting, sports ministry, vocational training, church planting, evangelism to work at the margins of youth culture particularly in urban contexts.

We encourage every church member to explore an area of personal mission and ministry. We provide prayer, pastoral and practical support to all church members. Around 20 members of the Church work full-time in mission work beyond Winchester. These folk are largely supported by the World Church Fund. We encourage those taking a gap year before or after university to consider giving part or all of the year to an area of Christian service.

Church members considering full-time Christian work or ministry are encourage to talk this through with one of the clergy. We will support church members working for a variety of Christian organisation and agencies.

Through our deanary we are linked to two diocese in Sonk, West Uganda: Muhabura and North Kigezi.

Small teams and occassionally a large mission team goes to Uganda to be part of the ministry of our partner Churches. We regularlly pray for Muhabura and Noth Kigezi.

In 2011 we joined Karis Kids started by Tim and Pippa Peppiatt with Bishop Zac Niringyre. This partnership seeks to support widows and orphans in the slums of Kampala through supporting whole households in partnering with the local church.

Each UK Church encourages family-to-family links and we partner at Church-to-Church level as well.

Our partner Church is St Nicholas, Kalerwe, led by Revd Fred Kisitu and his wide Merika Kisitu.

As a Church we are committed to long-term support of CMS and TEAR FUND.
