Children on a Sunday

At Christ Church, we welcome children of all ages.  With 100 children under the age of 11 joining us each Sunday,we offer a number of different groups to cater for their needs at our 9.30 service

Our children's groups meet during the 9.30am service. Children join with their parents for the opening
10-15 minutes, then go to their groups, returning, accompanied by their leaders/helpers, to their parents during the singing of the final hymn. The under 5's are collected by their parents from their groups
locations after the service.

The exception to this pattern is when the 9.30am service is Holy Communion (usually the first Sunday
of the Month). The Children go directly to the Church Centre at 9.30am and are returned to their parents
at 'The Peace'

All groups follow a programme of Bible stories, games and practical work. Each group has a leader and a team of teachers and helpers.

All regular members of staff have enhanced clearance from the Criminal Records Bureau.
