Confirmation

Confirmation is a Christian ceremony in which a person confirms the promises made by them or for them at baptism.  Confirmation is an opportunity to proclaim your personal faith in Jesus Christ and to acknowledge that you are part of the Church of Christ. The Bishop comes to conduct this service - the focus being the laying on of hands and the prayer for the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

This service takes place at Christ Church once every two years, with about 50 candidates between the ages of 12 and 90. Each candidate is asked to go through a course of preparation.
