20’s and 30’s

Here at Christ Church we have a thriving bunch of people in their 20’s and 30’s.  Our desire is to move from being consumers to being contributors, and to have a lot of fun along the way – that’s why we’re called the Emerging Generation.  There’s lots going on at Christ Church to help us get to know each other – and God – better.

House Groups
The best way to get integrated into Christ Church, and grow in your faith, is to join a small group.  In addition to lots of ‘all-age’ house groups, there are several house groups just for those in their 20’s and 30’s.  They meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evenings, so there’s something for even the busiest of schedules!

Social Events
We have a number of social events for 20’s and 30’s, ranging from BBQ’s and pub nights through to a Ball.  These are primarily organised by individual EmGen house groups, who invite the rest of us via the EmGen e-mail network. 

Social Gathering on a Sunday Night
Bacon sandwiches and coffee are served at Church after the 6:30pm service. Informal groups after head off to of the local pubs between 8:30pm and 9pm on Sunday evening.
